Another class has been added to the Life Skills Classes being offered to Monterey County Jail inmates. The new Financial Literacy Class is designed to help inmates learn how to budget during tough times, set financial goals for themselves, and learn basic banking knowledge. The free workshops are scheduled to begin in the next few weeks, and be taught in both English and Spanish.
