A man was tased after lunging at a police officer in downtown Santa Cruz during a fight early Saturday morning. Around 12:30am a fight between 4 people broke out on Pacific Avenue, which resulted in a large crowd gathered around the men. California Highway Patrol officers attempted to break up the fight, but the group refused to listen. One man approached an officer, and was tased. Justin McClelland was taken into custody for resisting arrest, and the other three were arrested for public fighting.
