North Salinas High School track and field hockey coach, John Fickas, is due in court today. Fickas, is currently out on a $400,000 bail. He was arrested earlier this month on rape and sodomy charges.
Fickas is also involved in a case alleging the abandonment and abuse of rabbits. And may be the target of a separate federal investigation.
His supporters are expected to attend today’s hearing.
