(09:20) Santa Cruz – A man with 2 outstanding arrest warrants was taken into custody on Saturday, in Santa Cruz. Officers spotted Alexander Madson driving around 7:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Water Street, and initiated a vehicle stop on the 300 block of May Avenue. In addition to the 2 felony warrants, Madson was driving a Ford Explorer, which was reported stolen earlier in the day from the west side of Santa Cruz. Madson was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on various charges.
