FEDERAL CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED AGAINST AN 80 YEAR-OLD SANTA CRUZ GARDENER, WHO HAD BEEN FACING DRUG RELATED CHARGES (AFTER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES WERE FOUND IN A HOME HE SHARED WITH HIS SONS). THE U.S. ATTORNEY’S OFFICE DISMISSED THE CASE AGAINST THE 80 YEAR-OLD MAN “WITHOUT PREJUDICE”. HE HAS ALSO BEEN INFORMED THAT HE WILL GET BACK THE MONEY THAT WAS SEIZED AT HIS HOME AS WELL.
1 OF HIS SONS HAS NOT YET BEEN CAUGHT, WHILE CHARGES ARE PENDING AGAINST THE OTHER.
