(06:40) Santa Cruz County- Due to the current weather and road conditions public works has announced some schools will be closed today. The 2 schools in the Loma Prieta Unified School District are both closed, as well as all schools in San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District. Based on how things go with the weather today, school officials and Public Works will determine whether schools will re-open tomorrow (Thursday).
