(08:01) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The Santa Cruz County Human Services Department is holding a town meeting Thursday night to address the housing needs of foster youth transitioning into adulthood. Dozens of foster youth in the county face the possibility of entering the next stage of their lives without the support of a parent or mentor. The community is invited to attend Thursday’s event to discuss how to connect transitioning foster youth to caring families or affordable housing. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors Chambers on Ocean Street. (S.G.)
