(06:15) SALINAS – Police are investigating an attempted homicide that occurred in Salinas Thursday night. Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Wiren Drive around 8:30 p.m. following a report of a shooting victim. At the scene, investigators found evidence of a shooting but no victim. Shortly after, officers learned that a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound had arrived at Natividad Medical Center. The victim has been uncooperative with investigators. (S.G.)
