(07:02) WATSONVILLE – Two people were arrested in Watsonville Tuesday night after leading officers on a vehicle pursuit. Police were patrolling in the area of Bridge Street and Hushbeck Avenue around 10 p.m. when they spotted a stolen Honda Accord. The driver of the vehicle failed to pull over for officers and a chase ensued. During the pursuit, the driver and passenger jumped out of the car and attempted to flee the scene on foot. The vehicle crashed into a utility pole. Shortly after, police detained both suspects, Jaime Torres and Angel Zamora. They were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
