(11:11) Central Coast – Immigrants in our community participated in a nation wide strike against the presidential administration to demonstrate how the economy would be affected without working immigrants. Yesterday thousands of community members did not show up for work or school and stood united. One Watsonville business, Haircuts, chose to show support for immigrants by offering free haircuts for the day. According to the Pew Research Center, there are about 11 million undocumented immigrants living in America, and in 2014, 8 million were in the workforce.
