February 11, 2016:Salinas Police Fight Cancer

(19:00) SALINAS- Salinas Police are raising money to fight cancer by growing beards or wearing more casual clothes on the job. It’s part of their annual campaign to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Beginning February until May 21st uniformed personnel are allowed to grow facial hair — after providing a $100 donation or agreeing to sell at least $100 worth of raffle tickets for a Honda Civic giveaway. For the same donation, non-uniformed employees may wear business casual apparel. As part of the Relay For Life. The Police Department’s Relay For Life team page can be found at http://j.mp/spd-relay-for-life.
