(07:53) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Merced County man has been convicted on drug and gun charges stemming from an incident in Prunedale. 27-year-old Julian Ramos was parked at a Chevron gas station when he was approached by deputies. Loose ammunition was visible in the front seat of Ramos’s car. A search of the vehicle recovered a loaded handgun, heroin, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Ramos faces up to four years in prison when he is sentenced March 29. (S.G.)
