(06:51) APTOS – A man was arrested in Aptos Wednesday on suspicion of burglary. 43-year-old Jesse Chmelicek allegedly broke into a vacation rental and was later found by the property manager. The property manager contacted authorities after Chmelicek fled the scene. Deputies swarmed the area and located the suspect in his car. A search of the vehicle recovered stolen items from the vacation rental. Chmelicek was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. He faces additional charges of possessing stolen property, possessing narcotics and committing a felony while out on bail. (S.G.)
