1 person died as the result of a crash in Aromas over the weekend. A 21 year-old Aromas man had stopped his G-M-C Sierra on San Juan Road near Summerland Road. A 29 year-old Salinas driver in a Subaru Outback reportedly didn’t see the stopped car fast enough and crashed the Outback into the Sierra. The 2 passengers in the Outback were transported to an area hospital, and the driver was declared dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
