A 21 year-old Salinas man now faces charges of manslaughter and felony D.U.I.. That after 1 of Jose Flores Orellana’s 2 passengers suffered fatal injuries in a solo spinout on Arroyo Seco Road yesterday afternoon. Orellana was reportedly speeding when he lost control of the vehicle and it went across both lanes and into a irrigation ditch before rolling several times. Salinas resident Jose Antonio Menjivar was declared dead at the scene. Orellana, and the other passenger, suffered minor injuries.
