Congressman Sam Farr is slated to meet with local officials and community leaders tomorrow during his visit to the Central Coast this week. Farr is expected to discuss pending legislation with the Monterey County Board of Supervisors at 1:30 p.m. in Salinas, and at 4:40 p.m. he’s slated to speak at a Carmel City Council meeting about environmental and ocean policy. On Thursday, Congressman Farr is said to provide updates on efforts to support regional tourism to the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
