The Farmworker Housing Act is now on Governor Newsom’s Desk, so that he can decided whether he’ll sign it or not. That after state legislators approved it yesterday. If signed into law, AB-1783 would assist people in cutting red through tape so they can build housing on agricultural land. The housing would need to be permanent…..and family-oriented.
