In state news… about 50 farm workers in the central valley are on strike today demanding free face coverings.
Workers at Primex pistachio farm in Wasco say they heard 31-of their co-workers tested positive for Covid 19 from the media. They’re asking for better sanitation measures and more information from Primex on the condition of co-workers.
A spokesman for the company says they’re closing next week for deep cleaning and also offering free testing for employees.
