Along with many counties being placed into the purple tier, the Facial Covering guidelines have been increased as well. Although their are a few exceptions, the new guidelines call for people to wear a facial covering (over their nose and mouth) anytime they are outside their home. The exceptions include when someone is: inside a vehicle alone (or with only members of their household); in an office (or a room) alone; or actively eating and staying at least 6 feet away from people who are not part of their household; people who are required to wear respiratory protection, or are undergoing a procedure that requires them to lower (or remove) their facial covering, or have a medical condition that prevents wearing a facial covering….or are under the age of 2 years old.
