While Facebook reported record profit and growth last week… a new study from researchers at New York and Stanford Universities saw an interesting trend.
Researchers discovered that de-activating Facebook for just four weeks could slightly alter people’s behavior and state of mind.
Not only did those participating in the experiment have an hour more of free time but they spent more time with family and friends.
And while participants had less knowledge of current events and polarization of policy views… they reported feeling slightly happier and more satisfied.
