California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said today that he will seek an Expedited Appeal for yesterday’s riverside judge’s ruling that the End Of Life Option Act was unconstitutionally approved by the state legislature. The 2016 law allows adults to obtain a prescription for life-ending drugs if a doctor determines they have 6 months or less to live.
California was the 5th state in the nation to adopt such a law.
