the 28th annual pajaro valley community health trusts evening of wine and roses was a sold out event over the weekend. the event, held at the santa cruz county fairgrounds, was packed with people, vintners and a variety of foods. the evening of wine and roses is the largest fundraiser of the year for the health trust, which supports programs throughout the county that provides healthcare services. nearly 700-thousand dollars was raised for groups such as salud para la gente, the watsonville ymca and the diabetes health center.
