All evacuation orders and warnings were lifted for both the Carmel Fire and the River Fire today (Thursday). All evacuation centers and shelters were also closed.
The River Fire was last reported as 48,732 acres and was 58% contained. The Carmel Fire was last reported as 6,767 acres and 60% contained.
