(16:40) Santa Cruz County – The County’s Department of Public Works has announced that the area around 1,000 Eureka Canyon Road, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday for emergency tree removal work. P.G.&E lines will be dropped in the area of the tree, as will A.T.&T. lines. Once Davey Tree workers finish, the power and phone lines will be re-attached. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area of 1,000 Eureka Canyon Road that day.
