Soccer teams that are part of the Salinas Soccer League had their equipment stolen over the weekend. The equipment was in the back of a pick-up truck, that was parked outside an apartment complex on North Sanborn Road, at Buckhorn Drive. The owner of the vehicle said the theft occurred between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information about this theft is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
