As of 8:01 a.m. tomorrow morning, Cal-Trans plans to start clearing the encampment at the intersection of Highways 1 and 9 in Santa Cruz. The eviction has been planned for a while, because the Highway 1 and River Street intersection is scheduled to be widened. To that end, a 72 hour notice was put in place there last week.
