A man who is accused of embezzling 25-thousand dollars from a salinas charity, turned himself in today (th). 34-year-old Alexander “scott” Harvey worked as the treasurer at salinas jacyees throughout 2010. he is accused of using funds for personal items. Harvey is also accused of stealing 850-dollars from the Scottish society of the Monterey peninsula. He turned himself in at the salinas police department, and was booked into Monterey county jail on 2-counts of embezzlement. The salinas jaycees is an organization that teaches young adults how to build business and political skills through community service.
