A fire broke out at a restaurant in seaside yesterday afternoon. The 2:30 p.m. blaze erupted at jose’s Mexican restaurant (on contra costa street). the restaurant was evacuated; nobody was injured. firefighters from multiple fire departments responded to the incident, which caused about 4-thousand dollars’ worth of damage. An electrical issue is believed to have sparked the blaze.
