More unemployment fraud uncovered by Sunnyvale investigators this week in a San Jose hotel room.
Last month Sunnyvale p-d arrested a suspect in a hotel where they found stolen social security cards, utility bills personal checks, a machine for producing fake credit cards and guns. That lead investigators to four other suspects who had been stealing mail from mailboxes through-out Santa Clara county.
The ring of bandits were reportedly creating fake profiles to apply for more than a million dollars in state unemployment benefits.
