California is enforcing a 21-day quarantine for those traveling from Ebola-affected areas. Although there are no confirmed or reported cases of Ebola in the state of Califonia, a statewide standard has been developed to protect the public. County public health officials are currently in charge of monitoring people who have been exposed to the virus. All counties are under risk-based quarantine procedures to treat possible patients consistently and fairly.
