Two San Jose men were arrested last night after a Scotts Valley business was burglarized. Officers responded after a silent alarm was activated at Easton Bell Sports on the 5500 block of Scotts Valley Drive at 11:15 p.m. Police say they found two men loading laptop computers, large screen monitors, and sports equipment into a vehicle parked at the rear of the business’s loading dock. 22-year olds Saul Ascencio-Mendez and Julio Cortes were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on multiple charges including burglary and vandalism.
