Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Live Oak burglary suspect on Thursday. A thief broke into a home through a locked window unaware that the home owner was watching him on video cameras. The owner called the Sheriff’s Office just as the suspect left the house on a stolen bike. Arriving deputies spotted Perry Martin about two blocks away. They stopped Martin who had the stolen bike and additional items of suspect stolen property. Martin was booked into Santa Cruz county Jail for residential burglary.
