A Santa Cruz mountain roadway is still closed, after a

Big-Rig rolled over this morning. The accident

Occurred on East Zayante Road shortly after 10:30 a.m..

The driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, but

spilled the load of sand he was transporting. The rig

also leaked gas, so California Fish And Wildlife

officials were called in to assess the situation.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid that area of East

Zayante Road near the equestrian field. The roadway

is scheduled to be re-opened by 5 p.m. today.
