In what is expected to be the largest earthquake drill ever held in California, The Great California Shake Out, is set to be held at 10:21 this morning. The drill is sponsored by several organizations and agencies, including the American Red Cross and the U.S. Geological Survey, the California earthquake authority, and the federal emergency management agency, known as FEMA. You can register for the drill, and find more information, at shake out dot org. By registering, your name will be added to the list of participants throughout the state, for advocacy and counting purposes.
