A man was arrested under suspicion of driving under intoxication after attempting to flee the scene of a collision involving his vehicle.
The collision involved his Nissan sedan versus a parked pickup truck.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a passenger in the vehicle who is 16 years old, did not know the driver well and was injured. Another eyewitness account states that a pedestrian was nearly struck by the vehicle.
This incident took place at 38th Avenue in the Live Oak area this morning around 9 AM, near Blue and Gold Mobile Park.
