As part of the “Avoid the 18” enforcement campaign that kicks off today in Monterey County, a DUI-checkpoint is set to be held in salinas tonight. the salinas police department is sexpected to release the location of the checkpoint, shortly before it is deployed. The checkpoint is funded with a federal grant.
