The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office reports that a dismissal hearing has been scheduled for an 18-year-old accused of causing a deadly crash while under the influence.
The case against the driver, Jacques Clarke, is set to be dismissed due to newly discovered evidence, but county attorneys would not give more details.
The crash happened in December in Salinas. In court, Clarke pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against him. The dismissal hearing is scheduled for Dec. 4.
