The City of Santa Cruz has scheduled an emergency sewer repair at Laurel and Chestnut streets with traffic impacts from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 13-17. The work has been rescheduled from May 6-10.
The work requires access to a sewer cover in the middle of the intersection.
Construction during this time requires a flashing red light and all vehicles must stop before proceeding. No left turns will be allowed southbound from Laurel Street onto Chestnut Street and right turns only northbound from Chestnut onto Laurel.
