Pacific Grove is using drones to locate and remove seagull’s nests from local businesses. Business property owners have until February 20th to remove seagull’s nests from their buildings. If a drone finds one of these nests, a copy of the photo will be sent to the business owner, who is required to remove it. However, seagulls are protected under federal law and their nests can’t be removed once eggs have been laid, so businesses must move quickly.
