In business news… it’s a sign of the times: a drone drugstore.
Walgreens and Google are teaming up and testing drone deliveries in christians-burg Virginia.
Right now, consumers can get over the counter medication delivered but not prescriptions. Shoppers will choose from a list of more than 100 items that can be delivered by a 10-pound drone flying 70-miles per hour… within minutes.
The drone is run by “wing aviation,” a subsidiary of Google. No word yet on how long the testing phase will last or when we can expect buzzing delivery drones on the Central Coast.
