OFF-SHORE – The 60-day comment period is open on President Obama’s plan, that would ban Offshore Oil Drilling (off the coasts of California, Oregon and Washington). It would block all new oil drilling in federal waters until 2022. The U.S. Secretary of the interior, Sally Jewell, said the plan is consistent with the west coast’s opposition to oil and gas development off the coast.
