The Dream and Promise Act Of 2021 (also known as H.R. 6) has been approved by the U.S. House of Representatives. This bill creates a pathway to citizenship for at least 3 million immigrants, which includes Dreamers who came to the U.S. as children, and those with Temporary Protection Status. These groups of people, in general, are largely employed in essential jobs….and have helped our economy and our communities, through this pandemic.
