A woman who died, after being dragged underneath a vehicle in Salinas last week, has been identified. 89 year-old Salinas resident Mae Hushbeck suffered fatal injuries when a Salinas man backed his vehicle into her (and 88 year-old Virgileen Day) last Tuesday afternoon. The 2 elderly women were walking in the Wal-Mart parking lot on North Davis Road just before the 2 p.m. fatal accident.
