Santa Cruz police Chief Andy Mills is calling it “a tale of two protests”
Wednesday, a large, peaceful group of protestors marched down west cliff drive asking for justice in the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Later tho… angry protestors gathered at the police station downtown and started causing trouble.
The station was damaged by grafitti and windows were broken on businesses through out downtown. It’s unclear what group organized the angry protest at the downtown.
