A 57 YEAR-OLD SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MAN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO SPEND TIME IN A FEDERAL PRISON, BECAUSE HE EMPLOYED UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS AT HIS COMPANY. RICK VARTANIAN, WHO OWNS BRONWOOD FURNITURE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN RANCHO CUCAMONGA, HAD BEEN WARNED BY I.C.E. AGENTS THAT MANY OF HIS WORKERS WERE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. VARTANIAN WAS SENTENCED TO 10 MONTHS IN PRISON.
THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY PLEADED GUILTY TO EMPLOYING THE WORKERS AND WAS PLACED ON A YEAR’S PROBATION AND FINED 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS. .
