A 41-year-old marina man is facing attempted murder charges, after allegedly assaulting someone. Michael fortner was arrested yesterday at his salinas business, after marina police officers investigated the case. At 10 a.m., officers were called to fortner’s marina residence on reservation road, after receiving a call about domestic violence. officers found the victim with severe injuries, and then attempted to located fortner. He was arrested, and booked into monterey county jail with bail set at more than 1-million dollars.
