Animal control officers in Santa Cruz County have seized 2-dogs, after they escaped from their Ben Lomond property, and killed 2-pygmy goats. The incident occurred at 6:45p.m. Wednesday, and the dogs were taken thursday. The dogs were caged by the goats’ owners, who heard the commotion, and interrupted the attack. The dogs were reportedly friendly to goats’ owners, and were locked away until authorities could respond. In an unrelated case, the owner of 2-other dogs that killed several sheep this week in Larkin Valley, has agreed to surrender the dogs to be euthanized.
