The Monterey County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was called to Pebble Beach Golf Course on Sunday. A suspicious device was reported by someone walking near the base of a cliff, near the 9th hole at Pebble Beach. Sheriff’s deputies called out the Bomb Squad, after discovering 2-pipes taped together. Members of the Bomb Squad determined the device was not a bomb, though they were unsure what it was, or how it got there.
