A man has been arrested, accused of stealing a friend’s dog after charging him $1,500 for training services. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said Benjamin Friedenberg of Soquel was arrested March 12 on suspicion of grand theft and embezzlement charges.
But the German Shepherd Dog remains missing.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s office said Friedenberg refused to return Thor after the training was over. The sheriff’s office also said investigators contacted Friedenberg but he would not say where Thor is now.
