(09:35) Watsonville – The Watsonville Police have retired one of their K9 officers. The Watsonville police department held a retirement ceremony yesterday (Tuesday) to honor Ellex for his years of service to the community. Ellex has been serving as K9 officer for the last 5 years. During that time Ellex has helped with over 125 apprehensions and the recovery of two loaded firearms.
